      Some kind of mix of Windows start tones, HDD clicking, CD tray, and dial-up connecting could be fun. Anyone have thoughts? Probably kept to around 30 seconds so it’s skip button friendly.

      Not much of a musician myself, so any help is welcome.

      We might be able to use the one on the Half Life DGC episode.
      I realise it was supposed to be a joke though, and it might get annoying after the 5th listen!

      I always loved this track which played in Windows 98 ‘Welcome’ pop up. It wasn’t the startup sound, but it was a great 30s clip.

      Might be able to work that into something..
