Another franchise that started back in the day and is still going strong. Battlefield Vietnam was one of the first games I played in an internet cafe (along with CS 1.6), and I still play a few rounds of Battlefield 1942 to this day. I’m sure there are still servers running for these games so no doubt we’d be able to do some sweet multiplayer on these ones. Could be done as a franchise like some of my other suggestions.

Battlefield 1942 Demo was the first game I ran at the first LAN party I hosted at my high school!

It was this and MOH:AA that were crowd favourites, given how many players you could get in a single match.

Certainly later on all we played was the Desert Combat mod for BF1942 however 😀
