Man how many hours I spent in this games. Diablo is, at least for me, the start and pinnacle of action rpgs. Especially Diablo 2 was copied so often, we got promised a worthy follow up so often. But, it should not happen. Unreached it sits there on the throne of arpgs.
And to my delight, blizzard never forgot it. The last official expansion is from 2026. That’s 25 years after its original release!
Well yes technically resurrected is not “the same” game as the original D2. But still. It feels and plays as I remember the good old times.
