I’ve been wondering if we want to have a chat space like DGC has on IRC?
There’s plenty of options these days. Discord, Slack, IRC, Mumble, I’m sure there’s more.
There’s also my hobby horse: all the retro messenger revival services that seem to be springing up recently, like escargot and crosstalk, which would be very appropriate for this club’s theme (although I think there’s issues with all of them. I can run through what ones I’ve found and what their pros and cons are if there’s interest.)
To be fair, my time zone, internet connection and general computer usage habits tend to get in the way of me using chat much, but I thought it would be a good idea to throw out there for discussion.
