Last of the Lucas’ Star Wars 90s space sims. I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about this game. If I recall the game begins not in the cockpit of an X-Wing, but the player starts by flying armed transports as part of the family business.
I was pretty disappointed XvT went MP only, and was glad to see this. Unfortunately I got too busy with Star Wars modding to actually play it! I think I was also a bit burned out by space shooters after WC3, 4, 5.

I’m greatly enjoying last month’s DOS Game Club game TIE Fighter at the moment … so giving X-Wing Alliance a go a bit later would be very nice! I did very very briefly test the game out when I found it from a flea market in … 2014?! I probably had a Windows laptop with a disc drive back then!
